The Hollies Pre-School staff consists of:
Three joint supervisors
Pre-school assistants
At the moment we have 3 supervisors with NVQ level 4 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, 5 assistants with NVQ level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, 1 with NVQ level 2 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and 6 bank staff who cover sickness and holidays.
All staff are registered with Social Services and police checks are carried out for all adults in the group working regularly with the children. The Supervisor notifies the authorities before any new members of staff are employed.
There are at least two members of staff at each session who have completed a recognised First Aid course.
All staff must agree and abide by the policies of the Pre-School regarding discipline etc and will be dismissed if they are found not to do so.
All staff are carefully selected and a very high standard of commitment is demanded from them to ensure the best possible care for your children.

Staff Ratio
Pre-school
The maximum number of children that the Hollies can accommodate in each pre-school session is 35.
The recommended ratio is 1 adult to 6 children, increasing to 1 adult to 4 children for the under 3’s.
There is always a minimum of 6 members of staff present at each full session
